: Honoring the Island’s First Doctor
Dr. Johnson’s Memorial in Harbour Island, Bahamas is located on the corner of Dunmore Street and King Street. It was built in the honor and the memory of Dr. Albert Johnson, a son of Harbour Island who came back to practice his profession at home after getting his MD in the United States. He is the first licensed physician on the island.
