Roundhead 1939 in Harbour Island, Bahamas
: Defense Against Invasion

Roundhead 1939 in Harbour Island, Bahamas was named after the roundheads and the soldiers that Oliver Cromwell sent to the islands in the 1600s. These roundheads were supposed to ward off the threats of invasion by Spain. The land was then granted to a Mr. Howland Spencer in 1939.
